Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Applied Skills learning platform, including its website, courses, quizzes, certificates and related services (the "Platform"). The Platform is run by Jalei Foundation ("we", "us", "our") under the "Applied Skills" brand.

By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 14 years old to register. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of and permits your use of the Platform.

• You must provide accurate and complete information during onboarding and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You may hold only one learner account. Sharing your account with others is not permitted.
• We may suspend or deactivate accounts that provide false information or breach these Terms.

Course videos, documents, quizzes and other materials are provided for your personal, non-commercial learning. They remain the property of Jalei Foundation or its licensors.

• You must not copy, record, download (except where the Platform expressly allows it), redistribute or resell course content.
• You must not attempt to bypass access controls, share signed links, or otherwise access content you have not enrolled in.
• Certificates are issued only after the completion and assessment requirements of a course are met, and may be reviewed or approved by our team. A certificate may be revoked if it was obtained through fraud, cheating or misrepresentation.
• Anyone can check a certificate using its public verification code.

Some courses or course modules are paid. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) at checkout and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Promotional codes are subject to their own conditions and may be withdrawn or limited.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details. Access is granted once the payment has been confirmed by the payment gateway.

Refunds, where available, are handled case by case by our support team following the refund policy applicable to the course at the time of purchase. Please raise a support ticket from your account for any payment issue.

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• harass, abuse or impersonate other users, mentors or staff;
• upload malware, attempt to probe or disrupt the Platform, or access data that is not yours;
• use automated tools to scrape the Platform or to take assessments on your behalf;
• cheat in quizzes or assessments, including sharing questions or answers.

Learners may be linked to a mentor who can see your progress, attendance and assessment results in order to support you. Our support team may contact you about your account, payments or tickets by phone, SMS, email or in-app notifications.

We aim to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features or courses, and we may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified on the Platform; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Courses are educational and skill-building in nature. We do not guarantee any particular employment, income or placement outcome.

To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided "as is", and Jalei Foundation is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at [jurisdiction to be confirmed] will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
